Open online course resources

UNSW has negotiated a licence with Freeplay Music to allow UNSW staff to use music in their courses, either open or in Moodle.
Who can use Freeplay Music under UNSW's licence:
UNSW Staff and Student can use all compositions on the Freeplay Music website, except Indie Artists and sound effects catalogue.
What UNSW staff and students can do under the licence:
Use for Web Videos, Podcasting, Student Film Festival, Closed Circuit Radio/TV Broadcasts, (and also DVD, but contact UNSW Library about DVDs to obtain information about conditions)
Where UNSW staff and students can place their work, under the Freeplay Music licence:
- Web Videos/Podcasting: Worldwide on www.youtube.com, www.unsw.edu.au and UNSW iTunes
- DVD: Contact UNSW Library for details
- Radio/TV Broadcasts: Local (on campus only - contact UNSW Library for other permissions)

Find free choral/vocal scores, texts, translations, and other information. Useful for more obscure composers and music, also includes librettos in various languages. Generally content may be copied, distributed and performed freely, however terms and conditions of use vary and individual resources should be checked. Music uploaded by musicians for use in your projects. Licences are CC BY, CC BY NC and TuneTrack Commercial. See individual pieces for their licence conditions.

Music can be searched by genre (e.g. Jazz, Rock, Blues, Electronic, International, Folk, Instrumental, and more), mood, and license types.
