Library service model for curriculum support

Course package support

Subject-specific course package support

The Library's Academic Engagement team can work with you at every step of the planning stage for your course or program (re)design.

We offer a suite of services and resources as a bundled package, including the integration of information and digital literacy skills, support with selecting relevant scholarly content, and ensuring equitable student access to course materials.

For more information, contact your Outreach Librarian to discuss how the Library can support your planning.

Course packages can include:

  • tailored digital information skills workshops for students

  • create Leganto course resource lists

    • curate relevant up-to-date Library resources including open educational resources (OERs).

  • specific copyright guidance

  • guidance with scholarly resources

    • presented by experts from the publishers, targeting subject specific areas.

Theory behind course package support

Course packages are designed to encourage student use of different media.

Activities are underpinned by UNSW Library threshold concepts which empower students through practice to achieve a learning threshold, e.g.Systemic thinking threshold concept - to help students increase their understanding of information resources and formats specific to a course.
