Library service model for curriculum support

In-faculty workshops

UNSW Library offers flexible, tailored workshops to support the development of your students' lifelong critical information and digital literacy skills.

Our faculty-based workshops are designed in collaboration with teaching staff to align with subject learning outcomes and assessment tasks. They aim to build students' skills in identifying, discovering, evaluating, and responsibly using scholarly information, guided by the UNSW Digital Information Skills Framework. Workshops provide staged support - foundational, proficient, and advanced - to meet students at different levels of their academic journey.

Workshop delivery options

To suit different teaching needs, the Library offers two delivery options:

  • Embedded workshops are delivered during scheduled class time.
  • Non-embedded workshops are offered outside of class time, providing a flexible option for students to attend independently when in-class time isn't available.
