What is it?

Talk to your Outreach Librarian about how the Library can collaborate with you to develop subject-specific course packages.

Package options

 

     

  

 

Course packages can include:

  • tailored digital teaching and learning objects (DTLOs) such as -
    • pre-work tutorials and Q & A session
    • ready to use resources including infographics, videos

  • create Leganto resource lists
    • curate relevant up-to-date Library resources including open educational resources (OERs)

 

Librarian can also offer:

  • specific copyright guidance
    • media types, common questions for information formats used in course, OEL toolkit, Copyright Clarified video
  • Guidance with scholarly resources
    •  presented by experts from the publishers, targeting subject specific areas
  • Individual or group research consultations (Honours and PGC students)

 

 

Theoretical framework

Course packages are designed to encourage student use of different media.

 

Activities are underpinned by UNSW Library threshold concepts which empower students through practice to achieve a learning threshold, e.g.Systemic thinking threshold concept - to help students increase their understanding of information resources and formats specific to a course
