• spend time researching their editorial practices and outputs
• check with your professional network and seek advice from your colleagues

Print on demand books and self-publishing:

• these may not be considered eligible for AROC and ERA purposes

Open access:

• be cautious! This is not considered standard behaviour in the publishing industry, especially in publishing for academic audiences
